We love pancakes at Veterans Hearing Support and so we have been trying to come up with a link between pancakes and hearing loss. So that way we had a great excuse to consume many!
Lo and behold we found one. But it does mean you have to add bananas to your pancake mix (we thought you could manage that).
According to a PubMed paper Magnesium reduces the incidence of both temporary and permanent noise-induced hearing loss. So to keep yourself hearing healthy, maybe eating a few banana pancakes on Shrove Tuesday would be worthwhile :-)
